Feast of nativity at st Lawrence Basilica Attur

The celebration of the birth of Mother Mary ‘Monthi Feast’ began in St Lawrence minor basilica, Attur at 7:30 am near the church main door by blessing the New Corn. Rev Fr Alban Dsouza, Parish priest of St Lawrence Minor Basilica, Attur blessed the New Corn. Later all came to the church in procession.

The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev Fr Royson Fernandes, Editor of 'Uzvaad' along with Fr. Alban Dsouza, Fr. Roman Mascharenhas and Deacon Ashwin Rebello.

After the mass the blessed corn and the sugarcane was distributed to the devotees.
