Catechism classes for catholic students of St Lawrence Basilica Attur for the year 2022-23 was inaugurated on 12th June 2022 during the 10:15 mass at St Lawrence Basilica Attur. Fr Alban Dsouza, Rector, St Lawrence Basilica, Fr Roman Mascarenhas, Sr Sunitha Moras, Br Shawn Andrade, Mrs. Laveena Mascarenhas, Mr. Richard Pinto, Mrs Benedicta Noronha and two catechism students inaugurated the catechism year by lighting the lamp. The liturgy of the mass was carried out by the catechism teachers. Fr Alban Dsouza, Rector of the Basilica, requested all parents to send their children to the catechism classes regularly thereby helping the kids to develop discipline in their life and to get knowledge about the Bible.
