The fifth day of St. Lawrence Minor Basilica's feast celebrated with great vigour and devotion

The last and fifth day of St. Lawrence Minor Basilica's yearly grand feast was celebrated with great vigour and utmost devotion and faith on 24th February 2022. There were 6 Masses even on the last day.

Morning 10:00 am Mass was celebrated by the Vicar General of Diocese of Mangalore Msgr. Maxim Noronha and the evening 4:00pm Mass was celebrated by the Bishop of Belthangady Syro- Malabar Rite Mar Lawrence Mukkuzhy . In his sermon he spoke about the family of Trinity, the first family of Adam and Eve and about the holy family of St. Joseph, Jesus and Mary. He also stressed that in our families we must have the unity and love that exists in the Trinity.

Moreover the centre of attraction was the procession of reinstalling the Miraculous statue of St. Lawrence back to its original place. This procession was unique and was the first of its kind in the history of St. Lawrence Shrine . As a whole devotees of St. Lawrence were really impressed about the procession and all admired it.
